Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said Kyiv will continue working with partners on U.S. peace proposals aimed at ending the war with Russia.

Speaking via video link at the Crimean Platform summit in Sweden, Zelenskiy emphasized that the plan is meant to strengthen, not weaken Ukraine. He stressed that Russia must pay for the war and that the use of frozen Russian assets is a crucial factor.

The United States and Ukraine are continuing work on the peace plan after modifying an earlier proposal that was seen as too favourable to Moscow.
