Rodriguez - Gommorah (A Nursery Rhyme) (55th Anniversary Remix)

Cold fact is my favourite album of all time so I decided for it's 55th anniversary I would attempt to remix it. My main goal with these mixes was to make them feel more crisp, more modern and wider whilst keeping the charm of the original mixes.

This consisted of making the bass central (or as central as I could get it with current technology) and more punchy, making the drums fully stereo and wide plus, once again making them more punchy. The strings were also laid out and stereoised how you would expect from a modern mix. For the rest of the instruments I mostly had a go at making them clearer and a little more central instead of the hard panned approach of the original mixes. However the fun panning effects from the original mixes were kept and I even added some more in the right places! Pretty much everything was cleaned up and EQed for this remix.

Unfortunately I still couldn't get it exactly how I would like mostly due to the fact that the separation techniques and technology I'm using isn't quite perfect yet. I really hope all you Rodriguez fans out there enjoy this remix! Thanks for listening!
