Today I hiked over 15 km through the mountains of Hakuba to reach Lake Aoki — known for having some of the clearest waters in Japan. Along the way, I passed stunning alpine architecture, stumbled across some artistic manhole covers, and was surrounded by nonstop natural beauty. The journey was long, quiet, and completely worth it.
Swimming in Lake Aoki felt like slipping into glass — peaceful, cold, and surreal. This vlog captures the hike, the sights, and the swim. Hope you enjoy the journey with me.
