This is my flow for processing an image of the Andromeda Galaxy in Photoshop CC. Other methods can be used and the techniques do not have to be done in this order. Play around in Photoshop and experiment! Try out new techniques! Figure out what works and what does not.
These are the basic steps I take when processing, but find what works for you! Not every step works for every image, especially when trying to process a galaxy versus a nebula. This is just a guide to help show the way!
