A Tour of Warrior Boats HQ with The Fish Locker!

In this video we are up in Preston to have a look around the Warrior showroom and boatbuilding facilities that they have on offer!


We are joined alongside John Locker from ‘The Fish Locker’ and Phil Byrom, the Director of Warrior boats.


As John owns a Warrior boat himself, it was great to see Phil show him around the facility and describe exactly how his boat would have been made, right down to the detail of the exact mould John’s boat was made in! To have the whole process of building a warrior boat from start to finish described and shown by Phil was great, and it was awesome to see them exhibiting their boats at Boatlife 2024.


On top of that, to see the newest warrior boats up close was amazing. The detail they put into each boat is amazing and that Warrior 175 XS really is special with that engine on the back! We can only imagine how good that is on the water…


Warrior boats are of course very well established in the small fishing boats industry and so it’s great to hear both John and Phil talking about what makes them such great fishing platforms. We’ve got no doubt we will see them throughout the Boatlife Fishing Championships!


With that in mind, the first Stage of the Boatlife Fishing Championships is literally next weekend! It’s shaping up to be an awesome event up in Conwy. Make sure to enter for the Privateer’s event on the Sunday and come along for the weekend as there will also be a free to attend Saturday night music and party. Including a local hog roast and Conwy Brewery offering great prices. As well as one of our favourites - the Shimano fishing simulator!
