Eckland is a LARP group from Germany located near Cologne in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. We startet as a small group of friends who wanted to represent the harsh life of simple medieval soldiers. After many years we evolved to a well organized troop of 20+ people with our own complex background stories. Unlike many other Larp groups we focus an basic roles with few commanding positions and other special roles. Our playstyle is direct, consequent and often involves conflict with other partys. We like a good amount of realism in Larp-battles, run away if the enemy is too overwhelming and would rather die good-looking than live ugly :)
