Disaster strikes during the day! Amaya arrives at school but can't speak—her voice is completely gone! Worse, her friends Connor and Greg look upset. They claim "Amaya" told the whole school their embarrassing secrets this morning. The helpless Amaya tries to deny it, but she can't make a sound. She finds a small, vibrating micro-chip on her pillow that emits a faint, high-pitched recording of her own laugh. The heroes declare, "PJ Masks, we're on our way! Into the night to save the day!".
The heroes discover Romeo standing on his Mobile Lab next to a Fake Robot Owlette with a large speaker in its chest, broadcasting loud, mean rumors to the city. Romeo reveals his "Gossip-Bot 3000" powered by a "Voice-Vacuum" ray that stole Owlette's voice. Now, the robot can say anything in Owlette's voice to break up the team.
The Gossip-Bot mimics Owlette perfectly, shouting cruel insults like, "Catboy is a scaredy-cat!" and "Gekko is weak!" which confuse and momentarily hurt Catboy and Gekko. Real Owlette tries to use Owl Wing Wind to stop the sound, but the Robot counters with a sonic blast, blowing the silent hero backward.
The High Stakes: The Fake Owlette lures Catboy and Gekko toward a "surprise party" which is actually a giant trash compactor trap. She tells them, "Trust me, jump in!" using the real Owlette's voice.
The Realization: Owlette realizes she can't out-shout the robot, but she can communicate through action. She thinks, "My friends know my heart, not just my voice".
The Power Move: Just as Catboy is about to jump into the trap, Owlette swoops down and uses Super Owl Wings to flash a specific "X" formation—a secret silent signal the team practiced. She then uses Super Owl Eyes to spot the "Mute Button" on the Robot's back. She signals Gekko with hand gestures. Gekko uses Super Gekko Camouflage to sneak behind the robot and press the button.
