This step-by-step tutorial guides you through how to make a game on Mirco: Bit called Crashy Bird, which is inspired by the famous game Flappy Bird. In this tutorial, we will guide you on how to use code and use the Micro: Bit controllers to control the bird when flying through the gaps in the walls.

The Micro: Bit is a tiny, pocket-sized computer that introduces beginners and kids to learn basic coding and programming skills with both software and hardware interaction. The Micro: Bit has an LED light display, buttons, sensors, and many input/output features that you can physically interact with. Microsoft’s MakeCode editor is used in this tutorial, which is a perfect way to start programming and get creative with the micro: Bit. This online editor offers color-coded code blocks which are similar to Scratch’s block-based programming language, which makes it easy and fun to code. The users also have an option to switch to JavaScript language to see the text-based code behind the blocks.
