Witness -18 °C in Kaza on Day 4 of Exploring Winter Spiti 2022 in Mahindra XUV 700!

Day 4 of out Spiti road trip started from a morning visit to Nako Lake. Temperature in night went down to -8 ° C. Stay was comfortable and we took a heater in our room. All the water in the pipelines is frozen so have to take heated water in buckets for freshening up. Drive from Nako to kaza was very scenic but a bit risky as the rote is narrow and in patches. On our way visited Tabo Monastery in Tabo village which is the oldest ( 1047 years) continuously operating Buddhist enclave in both India and the Himalayas.
Couldn't explore Tabo caves as it required a bit of hiking.
Reached Kaza in the evening and visited the Kaza market first, most of the shops were closed due to very little inflow of tourists during winters. Also most of the cafe's, Hotels and Homestay's were not operational for the same reason.
Eventually checked in "GREASE MOTOCLUB" homestay which was suggested by Mr. Vikas Negi from our Shimla hotel.
