Here I will show you how to make a sand scoop for Beach Metal Detecting for $0 basically, if you have some PVC Pipes laying around?? you can pick up small bits of PVC Pipe in off-cut bin's at hardware stores, for free, or for next to nothing.
The PVC one I show as an example in the video, my wife has been using for about 12 months and it is still going strong.
This scoop is great and is a fraction of the cost of a shop bought one.
Sand Scoop Measurements in millimeters.
Handle
length 1100 mm
Pipe Diameter 35 mm
Angle cut on handle 70 deg
Scoop
Length 230 mm (the bottom longest edge)
Pipe Diameter 110 mm
Angle cut on the scoop 45-50 deg
Holes Drilled 18 mm or just smaller than your smallest coin.
