Martin Guitar comparison - D-35 vs D-28! Two standard series powerhouses ... a battle of non-scalloped bracing. The D-28 has forward-shifted, non-scalloped 5/16" bracing, and a 2-piece East-Indian Rosewood back. The D-35 has forward-shifted, non-scalloped 1/4" bracing and a 3-piece back of EIR. Both guitars share the same Sitka spruce top & 1 3/4" nut. Which do you prefer & why?
