Forging Copper Leaf Spoon Rests

Forging copper is something Roy does frequently. He loves copperwork, so making a copper bowl is no big deal. Copper bowl making is a lot of fun, and I think you'll enjoy it too!

He has made a copper bowl fountain (or more of a very large birdbath rather). He has had a couple of request for a copper bowl sink. He will occasionally sell a copper bowl set online, as he offers our standard bowls in three different sizes.

Copper forming is a type of metal art. Copper forming can be almost addicting, once you get the hand of it! Roy has been doing copper work for years, and making copper art is one of his favorite things!

Hammered copper bowls make lovely home decor. Roy's copper finishing skills are top notch.

The bowls are formed by raising copper, in metal working terms. Forming copper requires several heats for annealing copper.

A blacksmith that works with copper is called a coppersmith. This type of dishing stump is a type of coppersmithing tools that you might find in a coppersmith's studio. I hope to cover more types of coppersmithing techniques in the future.
