Muraközi or Međimurje horse from Hungary/Croatia | Explore Forgotten Horses

Discover the Muraközi / Međimurje horse with me during my photo sessions in June 2024 in Hungary and Croatia. I learned about this breed by accident in the year 2019, when I went to photograph the Hucul horse in Hungary, and then spotted a much larger horse, that didn't seem to fit into the herd. Years later, I finally visited Hungary and Croatia again, to learn more about this critically endangered breed.
