Interrogation: Alleged Wife Killer Gets Questioned by Police

Interrogation footage from 2019 was played for jurors on Friday afternoon, showing Joseph Ferlazzo being questioned by police. Ferlazzo appears confused, stating he doesn’t remember what happened after he shot his wife, Emily, though he now claims it was in self-defense. Later in the footage, Ferlazzo is seen having a panic attack, prompting police to ask if he is okay.

Joseph Ferlazzo is accused of shooting and killing his wife, Emily Ferlazzo, while they were vacationing in Vermont to celebrate their one year wedding anniversary. Joseph eventually confessed to the crime and said he dismembered her body then dumped her remains in the bathroom of their camper van. The New Hampshire man was booked on a first-degree murder charge.
