Do you stack drives? Or do you prefer the natural character of a pedal to remain "un-hammered?" Level matching can be important if you have two drives and plan to use them individually, as well as stacking thrm. I try to demonstrate some different stack options of a Timmy style drive and an OCD style distortion, into 3 amp captures.
