His song Wake Up Mama, an Afro-Punta groove urging African leaders to unite for the continent’s children, caught the attention of Pan-Africanist and ADDI founder H.E. Dr. Arikana Chihombori Quao. She tasked Curly with composing the theme for the “Wakanda One City of Return” project in Cape Coast, Ghana—a commission that birthed Going Back Home, a vibrant Afro-soca collaboration with TR Shine.
