For this episode of Soft Focus, musician Ian MacKaye was interviewed by his old friend and compatriot in D.C. punk, Ian Svenonius, at New York City's storied Guggenheim Museum.
Soft Focus was a web video series in which musician and author Ian Svenonius interviewed a panoply of his fellow tuneful humans. Directed by Apology podcast/magazine person and writer Jesse Pearson, these episodes are available in full, many for the first time in years, here—hopefully until the internet crumbles in a couple millennia, or at least until the media company Ian and Jesse initially made these for, which has let much of this series languish in obscurity,, stirs itself from lassitude to send a cease-and-desist.
