Does a 20 Times as Expensive XLR Cable Sound 20 Times Better? Transparent vs AudioQuest Shootout

How much of an improvement an interconnect cable upgrade can bring? Is a more expensive option always better than a cheaper alternative? In this shootout play the same LP with a Transparent MusicLink Ultra XL balanced interconnect and then with a very common AudioQuest Diamondback cable. The first , even though is obsolete and has been superseded by a new Ultra line up, cost $4,000 at the time of its release a few years back. The AudioQuest cable is still unchanged, still costs the same $170 and remains a very common and popular component. So, will the 20 times more expensive Transparent cable sound 20 times as good?
