If a word is synonymous for anything, Dremel is for rotary tools. They are the true leader in the industry with their vast product lines, accessories, and innovation.
Dremel is an American brand that is known for their rotary tools. They were originally created by Albert J. Dremel in 1932 in Racine, Wisconsin. In 1993 Robert Bosch Tool Corporation bought them. They have a few branching product lines including D3 printing, soldering irons, heat guns, etc.
Model 4300 - Similar to other Dremel rotary tools, the 4300 model is a cylinder type tool that has a cord on one end and the rotary head on the other. The rotary head features Dremel/s key-less and collet-less chuck that makes changing bits and accessories quick and easy. The chuck accepts all Dremel accessory shank sizes without using a wrench. Although, we found it necessary to use the wrench to get a bit of extra torque on the chuck to get some needed grip on the bits.
The slim body allows the user 360-degrees of grip zone. This allows the user to grab it in any orientation and have the same feel and control all the time.
The Dremel 4300 runs cool, quiet, and smooth with a redesigned airflow system. This is essential with a variable speed tool with a maximum RPM of 35,000 on the high end and 5,000 on the low end.

Pivot Light and 3-Jaw Chuck
Rotary tools are typically used for up-close and detailed work. A light to illuminate you work area helps make it easier to see and be more precise in your cuts, grinds, polish, etc. Dremel put a light right at the tip of the 4300. It is called their Pivot light. It can be rotated 360 degrees on the tool head and can be removed if it will impede your work.
The recent innovation for Dremel is bringing a 3-jaw chuck to their rotary tool line-up of products. This eliminates the need for collets and tools to change out bits and accessories.
Conclusion - If you are someone that loves crafts, small project, or does fine detailed work, the Dremel 4300 rotary tool is something that might fit your needs. With the variable speed, ample accessories and attachments, and the pivot light, it is perfect for the up close and personal projects. We are firm believers that everyone needs a rotary tool in their workshop or home. If you don't do specific projects that require a rotary tool, it may sit in its case for an extended period of time but when that occasion comes up, you will be glad you had one. We often times compare them to an oscillating tool. They are a unique tool that does some special things but may not be used every single day. A Dremel certainly can be used by the avid project maker but for most, it will be a tool that gets pulled out for those tricky tasks.
