The quality and types of paper plays a key role in Chinese painting. For traditional freestyle Chinese painting, I use half-ripe rice paper.
In this video, I have bought some mounted half-ripe card for test and demonstrate what it looks like compared with painting on a piece of regular rice paper that I always use.
Materials:
Rice paper (half-ripe) 夾宣
Ink 月宮殿
Yellow color 藤黃
Orange color 珠膘
Red color 大紅
Blue color 花青
