On the Marvelous day of Navruz, the Manifestation of God went to the forest on a hunting expedition.
The heart of His servant was saddened, but his heart remained at the feet of God.. ..1

With my mind fixed upon my Love for the Lord of the Resurrection, I went to the forest in my love for the Lord. In the forest of marvels I beheld the Lord, who ever Divinely bestowed me an audience.. ..2

Oh how good it was to receive the Blessing of God! I went to the forest to wander with the God of the Resurrection. My untold hopes were all fulfilled -- the infinite hopes that no one had known of! The Lord delighted my heart.. ..3

In Love I was, rapturously attached to God! I have become enraptured with the colours of the Master. With my mind thus fixed on the Ever-Living Lord, the treasury of Truth was filled with the pearls of Gnosis.. ..4

I journeyed with the Lord, and gained real prosperity and triumph. The nafs (or self) of those who listen to the teachings of maarifat with full awareness are ultimately spared.. ..5

When the ‘life force’ finds the Way, life blossoms like a flower. Mingled with devotion, it becomes as fragrant as agarwood and sandalwood. In this manner, the Swan will ultimately dive in the lake (of Nur).. ..6

When Imam Shah Khalilillahi Aly went to inspect the fortress, He mercifully summoned Fatehali. My infinite and untold hopes were all realised, and God’s Light became manifest forevermore .. ..7

O Brother believer, Worship Him with feelings. Shamsi Sayyid Fatehali says: listen, O believer. Those who do not forget the virtues of the Master will never experience pain or sorrow in their hearts.. ..8
