I got an old Finnish national costume from Kouvola that used to belong to my friend's grandmother. However, it was very much in need of repairs and restoration. In this first episode, I'll show the original condition of the costume and make repairs to the pinafore dress. In future videos, I will be making a replacement apron and a blouse.
A slight correction to the video: The Kokkola costume was actually designed in 1913 and not 1915.
