Welcome to our 1st full day in Isla Mujeres! 🌴 What was supposed to be a fun, relaxing beach day took a wild turn when Zoe fell down a storm drain on our way to the beach! 😱 We spent the rest of the day scrambling to find a hospital, but luck wasn't on our side. After some searching, we finally got Zoe checked out at a private practice. £180 down & loaded up on painkillers, we decided to make the most of it!
Despite the unexpected start, we headed to the stunning Playa Norte, where Navie tried snorkelling for the first time 🐠. Afterward, we chilled at the beautiful Kin Ha Beach Club, before heading back to Playa Norte to witness the most breathtaking sunset we've ever seen 🌅.
What started as one of the worst days of our trip turned into one of our all time favourites. Sometimes, even the craziest days lead to the best memories! 🌟
