I started the day trying to get some live bait with a cast net. We had perfect condition for cast netting in a creek at low tide, we’ve managed to get few glass perches of various sizes which are perfect bait for Bream or Snapper.
I took two boys to the local spot in the mouth of the river, we found a spot with deep drops hoping for a good catch. It was incoming higher tide just before dusk so great time to catch fish.
We’ve got a lot of hits, we’ve pulled out 3 breams including one legal size over 32cm. We’ve cooked him up in hot ashes, perfect fish for early dinner!! What a day fishing!
