"ලෝ අම්බලමේ ඉඳලා යනවා" යනු ශ්‍රී ලාංකේය සිනමාවේ සහ ගුවන් විදුලි ගීත ඉතිහාසයේ සුවිශේෂී තැනක් ගන්නා දාර්ශනික ගීතයකි. 1957 දී තිරගත වූ ජීවිත සටන චිත්‍රපටය සඳහා ජික්කි මහත්මිය විසින් ගායනා කරන ලද මෙම ගීතය, ජීවිතයේ අස්ථීරභාවය, කර්මයේ බලපෑම සහ සංසාර දුක පිළිබඳ ගැඹුරු සත්‍යයන් විදහා දක්වයි.

ලෝකය තාවකාලික නැවතුම්පොළක් (අම්බලමක්) පමණක් බවත්, මිනිස් සිරුර පිණි බිංදු මෙන් ක්ෂණිකව බිඳී යන බවත් කවියා පවසයි. සැනසීමක් නොමැතිව, කර්මයේ ගිනි දැල්ලෙන් හදවත දවමින්, "මේ ජීවිතයේ කෝ ස්තීරතා?" යන ප්‍රශ්නය නඟමින්, මෙම ගීතය අප සැම දෙනා සංසාර ගමනේ ආගන්තුකයන් බව සිහිපත් කරයි.
