Jenin, after spending my second day in Jenin City in the West Bank, Palestine, my local contact took me to meet his family somewhere in he countryside outside the city. Its just a short Vlog but i learned a bit more and i just wanted you to see how resilient (again) the palestinans are and how they still manage to laugh despite losing practically everything. This family had homes in Jenin Camp , but are now displaced, they are some of the luckier ones as they had this small house on a farm so they had somehwre to go to, but its nothing compared to what they had and where they had lived their whole lives and their community and friends are all seperated. the Aunt here has been sick for a few months becuase of all the stress and having to move suddenly. everyone was so kind to me and hospitable and also, like ive found in other cities in Palestine..so funny!! i left for Tulkarm after this vlog, but i did return to jenin again briefly to do a solo wander in the city and interact with some locals.. i really liked jenin, as i did most places so far
