(2 Aug 1994) An advance party of 10 British soldiers arrived at Rwanda's
mortar-scarred Kigali airport on Tuesday (2/8) to launch an aid
mission that will bring 600 British troops to the central African
country. The British, who will take up to two weeks to complete their arrival, join troops from the United States, Canada, Australia and a handful of African countries in the humanitarian effort.
