In what could have been a segment from the movie Final Destination, a logging truck blew one of its tires and shed its load as it passed a construction site on an Arkansas freeway on Monday, sending a torrent of tumbling logs that killed two workers and injured more than twenty other.
The wreck took place on U.S. Highway 65 running through the Arkansas town of Clinton on Monday. As a southbound logging truck passed by a construction site, its left rear tire burst, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle. The rig spilled its cargo, onto the construction workers, killing two and injuring 21 others.
