Christopher Walken marriage timeline

Christopher Walken and his wife, Georgianne Walken, have been together for over 50 years. They met in 1963 while working as dancers in a theatrical production of West Side Story. The couple got married in 1969 and has remained together ever since.

Georgianne’s Career as a Casting Director
Georgianne Walken is an Emmy-winning casting director who has worked on hit HBO series like The Sopranos and Entourage. She has earned nine Emmy Award nominations for her work as a casting director, including for the television series Sex and the City (1998-2004), Deadwood (2004-2006), and Boardwalk Empire (2010-2014). Georgianne won her first and only Emmy for outstanding casting for a series in 1999 for her work on The Sopranos.

She has also received seven nominations at the Artios Awards, winning in 2000 for The Sopranos and in 2005, 2006, and 2007 for Entourage.

Acting Roles
Georgianne Walken has appeared in front of the camera only a few times. Her first acting role was in the 1983 film Brainstorm, where she played Wendy Abramson. She also made a brief appearance during a 2006 episode of The Sopranos, serving as an extra.

No Children
The Walkens never had children. Christopher Walken has stated that he is glad he did not have kids, as it allowed him to pursue his career without worrying about providing financial stability for a family. He has also mentioned that he enjoys the quieter times at home with his wife and cats.

Working Together
Although Georgianne and Christopher are in different entertainment business fields, they have worked together on occasion. In addition to their collaboration on Brainstorm, they both provided voice work for the animated film Antz (1998). They also co-produced the short film Popcorn Shrimp (2018).
