Reacting to FF7 Rebirth Drama on Twitter. A couple weeks ago, I made a few tweets criticizing how Final Fantasy 7 Remake butchered the tone of the original game, and how it is brutally cringe in the way the OG wasn't. I thought these would be enjoyed by a few people - but instead they set the FF7R side of Twitter on fire. They retweeted & quote tweeted me to call me an idiot, that I've "never played the OG" etc (the usual NPC script many of them run on), until the unexpected happened: Normal Person Twitter took notice. When they saw the evidence in front of them, they saw beyond a shadow of a doubt these false remakes are FF7 for Disney adults. They are FF7: Guardians of the Galaxy. Then - somehow - the meta for one day became shot-by-shot comparisons between OG FF7 and FF7R. I'll include all the Tweets in the Pinned Comment, if you are interested. Then everyone moved on.

In conclusion, consider the following:
On Normal Person Twitter, their dramas are about electro shocks and other serious issues.
On FF Twitter, the biggest scandal for a week was that one guy said he didn't like Rebirth.
