An "upgrade" of the rides between Crater/Boiler Island and Jungle Island in Riven: The Sequel to Myst using several machine-learning methods to de-artifact, interpolate, and upscale. The full-screen videos start at 2:50.
The game came out in 1997, I look forward to being outdone by the upcoming remake!
