FIRST TURBO 2025 GR86 HAKONE EDITION (CRAZY HP + TURBO SOUND!)

We are super excited to be the first to turbocharge a 2025 GR86 Hakone Edition (at the time of filming). This production run of GR86 Hakone Edition is limited to 860 units finished in an exclusive Ridge Green color that looks stunning in the sunlight!

The kit we are using in this video is the HKS GTIII-RS Turbo kit for the first gen FRS/BRZ/GT86, since the second gen turbo kit was out of stock at the time of filming. These kits are extremely similar with minor differences, one of them being the MAF sensor housing. We used the OTL 2022+ GR86/BRZ MAF sensor housing from OTL Performance and got the intake pipe custom welded with the new housing. Crash bar trimming is necessary on either car generation kit/car.

This kit made extremely good power, much more than any of us were expecting. We tuned this car via EcuTek remote tuning with ‪@DeliciousTuning‬ down in San Diego.
