Kitbashing a LEGENDARY Chaos Lord for Warhammer 40K

If I had to guess, around 1/4 of all of my builds start with a piece of Games Workshop artwork as a jumping off point, and today's kitbash is no different. I've wanted to kitbash a model based on Adrian Smith's iconic artwork for Engra Deathsword since I first saw the art on the cover of the Warhammer Army book, but I've still not got around to starting that Fantasy Chaos army!

So, obviously, I've decided to bring Engra Deathsword into the grimdark, giving me plenty of license to tweak the build to suit the Warhammer 40,000 setting. And that's the real benefit of kitbashing using artwork as inspiration, you can take as much or as little as you want - there's no rules - all is Chaos!
