Growing up in Cameroon, we made Cameroonian Fried Chicken during Christmas or special occasions. This chicken is loaded with flavor and I hope you love it as much as I do.

INGREDIENTS FOR CAMEROONIAN FRIED CHICKEN
8 pounds chicken (about 4 kg)
10 cloves of garlic
3-4 inches ginger
7 sprigs of basil
1/4 leek
1 habanero pepper
Half a medium onion
5 sprigs parsley
2 pebe (African nutmeg)
1 teaspoon ground 'contri onions' (rondelles)
1 teaspoon ground white pepper
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons chicken bouillon powder (or Maggi seasoning cubes)
For best results, let the chicken marinate overnight in the fridge before cooking.
