On August 21st, 2020, I visited Nashville, Tennessee in hopes of catching one of the Nashville & Western's classic B23-7s in action. Upon arrival to the NWR's engine facility along Herman Street, an employee told me that they had recently replaced their B23-7 fleet with 2 newer B20-8s from the Nashville & Eastern. He also said that RJ Corman recently had put the old locomotives for sale! I was disappointed when I heard the news, but I still took some photos and video of the parked B23-7s because they may not be there for much longer. I then headed over to Ashland City to see the new B20-8s in action. The units put on a show while switching at Bluegrass Drive and Thompson Road just east of town. Thanks for watching!
