The Axial SCX24 has become a wildly popular mini RC Crawler. These 1:24 scale trucks are quite capable out of the box. With a few mods you can take them to the next level.
There are a slew of upgrade parts, Hot Racing, RC4WD and Yeah Racing to name a few. Its not difficult to add upgrades that equal the cost of the stock truck, luckily it's not necessary.
In this video we are comparing the capability of Stock wheels & tires with RC4WD wheels and Rock Creaper & Dirt Grabber Tires.
