Arran is the final track on 'Sauna, Teach Me How to Breathe'. It’s about recovery, respite and how shared traumatic experience can shape who we are. But in the end, there’s no point hanging onto things.
recording this song flitted between heavily piano driven to guitar driven several times and landed somewhere in the middle. we like it this way.
We saw this song as a fitting outro to the EP and hope it concludes and punctuates with a sort of natural hopefulness.
This video is made of footage from the recording process in a cottage in snowdonia wales and we all lost it and we all loved it and we all miss that time.
