Sparring stick for Bartitsu or Irish stick fighting

Sparring sticks for Filipino Martial arts are easy to get. It looks differently if we use longer sticks like walking stick or canes in la canne or historical fencing arts. And it is even worse if we have to simulate a walking stick that is top heavy.

In this DIV video I will show you how to build a easy and cheap sparring stick you can use in Bartitsu or Irish stick fighting where the striking end have to be heavier to simulate the original tool.
You can do different fitting canes, I tried to create one you can use without a fencing mask in low gear sparring.

I build my soft stick fro an old HEMA single stick with a knuckle bow. If you are looking for something like this instead of an full basket, you may have a look too.
