Today, I head south toward Fujioka and Kanna to do some exploring. The further I headed into the mountains, the more isolated and deserted the areas became. There were long stretches where there wasn't any signs of life, and when I did come across a cluster of houses, there wasn't a soul in sight. Luckily I did end up finding an old style Japanese restaurant that was cooking up some fresh fish.
