Hyatt Vineyards lost founder and leader Leland Hyatt. He passed away Jan 29th at home surrounded by his family. With his lovely wife Lynda, they developed one of yakima Valley's original vineyards entertaining years of guests at their estate. Hyatt Vineyards produced one of Washington's best and earliest merlots since its first vintage in 1987. For 35 vintages they've produced thousand of cases of outstanding Washington State wines from their family owned estate vineyards.
I was privileged to join their team producing the 2022 vintage with Leland and Lynda at Hyatt Vineyards. The team who has been here for over 15 years will continue along with his family the great work Leland contributed to #wawine.
