rory & jess | last kiss {taylor’s version}

Making this again made me remember what a mess jess in this show. He just keeps disappearing (“disappearing act”) and has terrible communication (I love all the calls and then later toward Rory’s graduation how he literally calls her and then doesn’t speak — he wants to talk but he can’t). While it’s sad they don’t end up together or even that they don’t date for very long, I love how all of this catches up with jess — he rarely expresses his emotions, keeps being unreliable and always loves a good disappearing act. Like seriously, I feel like I could do a university essay on him.

ahhhh taylor’s version is out todayyyyyyy. i actually made this edit way back in october but thought i’d wait till now to release it for the tv version, very “mastermind” of me.

like most gilmore girls fans, i love jess (he’s a bit of a mess but I love his character anyway). I think last october I must have been listening to this song and thought of these too as I was going through a brief Gilmore girls renaissance (I watched the show on and off since the start 2017). I really need i full rewatch of the show since I’ve only rewatched parts since then! kinda crazy. But I’m scared cause this show takes it out of my emotionally Aha.




I was inspired by kindred spirit (    / @kindredspirit2000   ) (and many other fan editors). my favourites of hers are nothing new and all too well.
