Working backwards through spring bonsai repotting...
I show the root work on an advanced japanese maple bonsai as I squeeze it into a shallow pot. There is much detail work that is considered when continuing to improve the nebari of a tree even after 15 years.
Next, I move on to the still-in-development root system of another japanese maple. Without the nicely established radial roots, this bonsai of only 3 years is in need of additional guidance.
