A view of the inner workings of Bensonwood and Unity's Hundegger Speed-Cut SC3 machine at our high performance panel factory in Keene, NH. A marking pen creates layout lines and a V-notch is created inside the saw cabinet as a way to ensure the correct end goes through our machinery later in the panel-making process. This CNC machine's accuracy minimizes wood waste, and what little waste is generated is collected from the conveyor belt and deflector shields—which we then recycle and use to heat our facility.
