Jennifer Connelly Gives RARE On-Set Interview About David Bowie

Jennifer Connelly chats with ET about David Bowie on the set of their now-iconic film, ‘Labyrinth.’ In this behind-the-scenes interview, she praises Jareth the Goblin King himself and director Jim Henson. Bowie wrote five songs for the soundtrack, including ‘Magic Dance’ and ‘As the World Falls Down,’ and Henson said the rockstar brought a ‘powerful’ quality to his performance. The 1986 musical has amassed a cult following over the years and upon David Bowie’s death in 2016, at age 69, many fans shared their admiration for the movie. Speaking with ET soon after Bowie’s passing, Connelly said, ‘To me, not only was he a genius, he was a genius who had the time to be kind. [That] was my experience of him.’
