Spring in Dublin: Walks, Things to See & Living in Dublin City Centre

Grateful to be able to share this with you guys, making this video was a fun and healing experience (for the most part - some editing mishaps here and there).

prelude -

Being able to spend time alone and enjoy your own company can be hard, I know that for years I hated being alone but I knew that as a more introverted person I needed alone time. Quite an annoying anomaly. The more I worked on my self-confidence & self-image, I started to enjoy these days for myself, and now I don’t think that’s something I’d ever want to replace. I think you can learn so much about yourself by being with yourself alone. How do you like to spend a day? What kind of activities bring you joy?, is it exploring a park, going to museums?, maybe you spend a whole day with yourself reading a book. It truly doesn’t matter what it is, it’s the feeling that matters. Being at peace with yourself, comfortable with who you are, being kind to yourself is priceless.

I filmed this video on the first weekend of spring this year. I take you guys to my favourite place in Dublin, Phoenix Park & its surrounding areas. When the sun comes out here, the city transforms, buildings change colour, the shade of green becomes rich and the sun reflects in the water making it glisten. We find some old buildings, visit Chapelizod, a small village on the outskirts of Phoenix Park & visit the Irish Museum of Modern Art.
