Man injured after shooting with officers near 16th and Roosevelt streets

Officers say they were investigating a reported stolen vehicle when they came across the man who matched the suspect description. After police attempted to pull the man over, the driver fled from police. A pursuit began near 7th Avenue and Osborn Road, where a man was firing off a gun from his vehicle. According to officials, the shooting continued throughout the pursuit near Roosevelt Row. The shooting involving officers happened near 16th and Roosevelt streets.
