The Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is a monumental milestone in India's infrastructure development. Stretching 272 km through the rugged Himalayan terrain, this ₹43,780 crore railway project includes India's longest transportation tunnel (T50 – 12.77 km), the iconic Chenab Bridge—the world's highest railway arch bridge—and the country's first cable-stayed railway bridge, Anji Bridge.

With 36 tunnels and 943 bridges, the USBRL project is set to transform connectivity, trade, mobility, and tourism in Jammu & Kashmir.
