Securing the Edge: Multi-Cluster Governance With Kyverno on K0rdent’s Fleets - Dolis Sharma, Nirmata & Prashant Ramhit, Mirantis
As organizations scale AI workloads and applications across edge environments, enforcing consistent governance and security policies becomes increasingly challenging. This session introduces a practical approach to scalable policy enforcement across fleets of Kubernetes clusters using Kyverno and k0rdent, with k0s as the lightweight Kubernetes distribution powering edge nodes.
The session covers fleet-wide governance strategies, including dynamic resource allocation (DRA) for GPUs, policy automation in disconnected or constrained environments, and real-world patterns for enforcing compliance in the field.
Through demos and architecture walk-throughs, this session provides actionable insights for those deploying Kubernetes at the edge, particularly in industries like telco, manufacturing, and smart infrastructure. We will also share patterns for integrating policy-as-code workflows and automating Kyverno validation via CI/CD or offline pipelines.
