Bioshock is a video game series, developed and published by 2K (and irrational games) With excellent writing by direction by Irrational's creative lead Ken Levine.
Throughout games set in the Bioshock Universe players go through various utopias gone wrong fighting off the remnants of the creatures that reside there using a variety of weapons and genetic modifications to basically perform magic.
There's heavy themes and some big political commentary, it somehow incorporates ideas by dystopian and utopian thinkers like Rand, Orwell and Huxley with parodies of historical figures like Rockefeller and the mouse man. There are three direct Bioshock games and two story based dlc and this video will be Covering what happens in Bioshock 1, Bioshock 2, Bioshock Infinite, Minerva's Den and Burial at Sea.
