WARNING: this video is for those who have no geology experience, but who wish to know more about how those "pretty red hills" came to be. The video is a bit longer than I would like, but it is, after all, a lecture, and deleting too much of the presentation would cheat the viewer of valuable information. The erratic camera movements are due to the fatigue of the person holding the camera since a tripod was not available. I do not believe that the occasional random movements will cause dizziness or vertigo. Next time I will bring the tripod.
We are fortunate that Dr. Saines agreed to have his talk posted on youtube for all to enjoy.
